I’m Patrick (PJ) Odom

a creative designer

I am currently working in the role of a user interface designer for Tri-Core Technologies located in Baton Rouge. I work with various clients designing software and mobile applications, overseeing brand identity, web development, and project management.

I began my career at North Carolina State University as a graphic designer from 2007-2012 and was then promoted to the Art Director of Brand Strategy in 2013.

In 2016, I moved to Baton Rouge with my family to pursue the role of graphic design manager with LSU Athletics, focusing my role on the creative and visual direction for digital, social, print, and web for all 16 sports. My first large project was the UI redesign of LSUsport.net, the homepage for LSU Athletics. I oversaw the recruitment and training of the student staff and helped to direct the project management of all design projects.

I have a vast variety of experience with nearly 15 years in marketing, advertising, web, and creative content/design. My work has spanned multiple industries including sports, education, and business. I have won several American Advertising Awards (ADDY Awards) with both creative teams at NC State and LSU.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts and science in Graphic Design from Mississippi State University in December of 2005. I also earned a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Mississippi State University in May of 2007. The Ocean Springs, Ms., transplant and his wife Amy have two children, Addie and Hayden.
